Divine Love

Love births unity and there is no where love exist that devil can flourish. The first thing that the devil does in a group of people is to break down the love and unity which exist in the group. Then confusion and lack of trust shall set in. Then the devil begins to torment them.

“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting”.        Acts 2:1-2 KJV

We saw that the disciples were all united when the Holy Spirit fell upon them. God can only dwell in places where there is love and unity because He is not the author of confusion. Love is very important for the power of God to move in our midst. God can only give you revelations about the people you love.

“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal”.   1Corinthians 13:1 KJV

You can only be a man of exploit through love. No matter the great gifts you have, it is love that will determine the extent to which the gifts will get to. Many has built with their hands and also destroyed that same thing they have built with their own hands, this is because of lack of love. A man of love is not destructive.                   

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity”.             1Corinthians 13:13 KJV

As great as faith is, Paul said love is greater than it. Divine love births divine relationship. Divine relationship then birth access to divine revelation and the word of God. This then birth Hope. Hope then birth Faith. Faith then birth the works of faith. So, the beginning is divine love, so it is the greatest.

All the Patriarchs were men of love and we saw the great exploit they did. May be the reason you couldn’t do exploit is because of love that is lacking in you. Rebuild your spiritual altar this hour and let love of God envelope you, then you will see the great exploit you will begin to do.

“Then said David, ye shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD hath given us who hath preserved us and delivered the company that came against us into our hand. For who will hearken unto you in this matter? But as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike”. 1Samuel 30:23-24 KJV  

The Amalekites invaded Ziklag when David and his men were not around and took away their wives, children and they burnt their place. When David enquired of the LORD, they pursued after the Amalekites but on their way, 200 men out of the 600 men stayed behind because they were weak. They conquered the Amalekites and they got many flocks and herds from them. When they returned to where the 200 men that didn’t go with them were. The men that went for the war said the people that didnt go with them will not get from the spoil but David said No, that everybody including those that didn’t go for war with them shall share from the spoil. This is an act of love. How will God not then later call David a man after His heart?
