God taking over our battles

 "And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you." 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 KJV

The Lord gave the children of Judah great victory over three powerful nations that rose against them. As they stepped out in battle against their enemies through worship and praise, God took over the battle on their behalf and gave them victory.

" Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands." 1 Samuel 17:45, 47 KJV

Also, David confronted Goliath in the name of the Lord and God took over his battle and gave him victory.

We must confront the Goliath standing against us by faith and as led by God then God will then take over the battle for us but if we fail to initiate the process of confronting the battle, God will not step in on our behalf. We must first get the word of God before we launch out because it is the voice of God that gives us victory.

When we were without Christ, when we take any task, we are doing it only in our strength and we could fail in it

But when we are now in Christ, when we do anything in the name of God, God magnify our little effort and gives us great results.

It is written, seed time and harvest shall not cease. Even if it is little, we need to sow a little into the task and God will multiply it for us for harvest. We must confront the Goliath by faith. We must not be scared of the Goliath and it shall be subdued because no mountain can stand against God. All mountains are surmountable

May the Lord always fight our battles for us in Jesus name.
