The Power of Vision

This is excerpt from my book titled "Fulfilling the purpose of God: becoming who God has created you on the earth". The book is available on Amazon as ebooks  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089S246GS   and paperbacks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089TV9GCB CHAPTER ONE The Power of vision “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law happy is he” Proverbs 29:18 KJV Also read Habakkuk 2:1-3. Vision is the mental picture of a desirable future. Either it is a spiritual task or a physical task (e.g. Business) we must have a vision, then a Mission, then Objectives and lastly goals. Mission is a broad statement of the task which has been formed as a vision. Objective is a statement of the intention to pursue and accomplish the Mission. The goal is the statement of the final destination or what is intended to achieve at the end. For one to be successful, these four must be in place. Some people just have a goal without vision, mission and objective...

Entering God's rest

This is excerpt from my book titled "Entering God's rest: experiencing unending joy". The book is available on Amazon as ebooks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CBXJS6V5 and paperbacks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CGL3S5ZV   INTRODUCTION "And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made"            Genesis 2:2 KJV God rested on the seventh day after His 6 days works of creation. God then blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. Then after He called the children of Israel out of Egypt, as they were in the wilderness, He gave them the ten commandments through Moses and among the commandments is that they should remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. That six days shall they work but on the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD and on that day they shall not do any work, it shall be a day of rest. God always ensure that we align with His plans and purpose. He always brings us...

The end time Church: the church coming out of Babylonian captivity

"The word that Isaiah, the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, come ye and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his way and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem: And he shall judge among the nations and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more”      Isaiah 2:1-4 KJV Read Haggai 2:1-9, Isaiah 45:1-13, Jeremiah 31:31-34, Ephesians 4:11-13. The above scriptures revealed the End time Church. This is the Church that will come out of the Church in Ba...

The Church in Babylon

"And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:" Revelation 3:14-17 KJV Babylon means worldliness and confusion. Revelation chapters 2 and 3 revealed 7 churches in Asia which represented the 7 Church ages from the early church to the rapture day.  Let me briefly talk about these 7 Church ages before I now focus on the church in Babylon. The Church in Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7): This is the early Church which began on the day of Pentecost in 33 AD and ended in 100 AD when the last Apostle, John the beloved, died. The Church i...

The Anointing

CHAPTER ONE Anointing “And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder and his yoke from off thy neck and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” Isaiah 10:27 KJV Anointing is the divine enablement or grace to carry out a task. Anointing makes task to be done easily. One can either pray under the anointing or by faith. A prayer of faith could take a little stress and the result might not occur instantly but a prayer under the anointing is easier and produces instant results. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him”. Acts 10:38 KJV “And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him and a voice came from heaven, which said, thou art my beloved son in thee I am well pleased”. Luke 3:22 KJV The coming of the Holy Spirit upon someone is the Anointing...

Spiritual difference between Babylon and Egypt

Biblically, Egypt and Babylon have their unique representation though they both symbolise bondage. Egypt spiritually means total bondage. Powers holding one down and preventing one from progressing and serving God. Babylon spiritually means worldliness and confusion. A church or a child of God that allows the spirit of the world to control them are in Babylon. The spirit of Babylon contaminate the worship of God. The spirit of Babylon brings heresies and wrong doctrines into the church.  Mostly, someone that is not born again or that has lost his/her salvation is spiritually said to be in Egypt. For someone that is saved and allow worldliness into him/her, is said to be in Babylon spiritually. These days, the spirit of Babylon is contending against the church worldwide. Different doctrines, worldly dressing and habits that have been allowed into the church worldwide. The Lord shall surely liberate His church worldwide from the Babylonian captivity as Revelation chapters 17 and 18 r...

Wilderness is not a place of punishment

Between the Egypt and the Promised land, there is a wilderness. In the wilderness, you will have to keep your hope alive and pursue the vision God has given you carefully so that you can enter into the Promised land and then become fulfilled in God. Wilderness is meant to train one up about the vision and humble one with the experiences in the wilderness (Hebrews 5:8-9).  Until you successfully finish whatever God has lined up for you in the wilderness before you can move into the Promised land. One could delay one’s stay in the wilderness as the children of Israel did because of their hardness. We must not see the wilderness as a place of punishment but a place to build us. It is a place that removes the reproach of Egypt from us as Mount Sinai and Gilgal revealed. Read Exodus 23:1-33 and Joshua 5:1-11. No employer will commit a responsibility into the hand of untrained personnel. Every organisation subjects their new recruits into different trainings before they commit assi...

God taking over our battles

"And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you." 2 Chronicles 20:15-17 KJV The Lord gave the children of Judah great victory over three powerful nations that rose against them. As they stepped out in battle against their enemies through worship and praise, God took over the battle on their behalf and gave them victory. " Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, an...

Understanding Covenant

This is except from my book titled"A victorious spiritual warfare: using my testimony as a case study". The book is available on Amazon as ebooks  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088QQ4W3R  and paperback https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GRQ9NZG "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the things that is gone out of my lips Psalm 89:34 KJV Covenant is an agreement, a vow or a promise made between two people (or groups) or between someone and God (or god or devil). Covenant can either be conditional or unconditional. A conditional covenant is the one that has conditions to be fulfilled for the covenant to be valid but if the conditions are not met, the covenant becomes invalid. An unconditional covenant is the one that has no condition for its validity, once it is made, it becomes effective on both parties. Any covenant has spiritual backing even if it is between two people. Therefore, we must be careful of the covenant we make with people as no common covenant, all are very powerf...

My divine Mandate

A day like this in 2007, the Lord revealed His purpose for me: On Sunday, 29th April 2007 in the afternoon at Araromi Adigbe, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria, I was watching a program on the T.V., I saw a woman running a Foundation which assists the less privileged and also the then Governor of Lagos State program on empowerement of the less privileged was shown. Then I became worried because I saw the open vision I was given around 1989 as I was hawking bread along Ajao Estate, Lagos whereby I was empowering the less privileged (handicaps)  and what these people were doing to be similar. Then I asked myself: “Why is devil not attacking these people because the devil had been attacking me seriously, even during this period, I was in a serious attack from the devil, my destiny was really contested by the devil. When I wanted to sleep, I asked God to reveal the matter to me in my dream because I was confused. As I closed my eyes to sleep, the Lord asked me: “What is the achieveme...

Spiritual warfare prayer

Put on your Helmet of salvation. Wear your Breastplate of Righteousness. Have your loins girt about with truth. Your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. Take the shield of faith in your left hand and sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God in your right hand. Stand therefore as we go into warfare prayers: 1. Sing praise/worship songs unto God.  2. Ask for the forgiveness of your sin (Hebrew 8:12). 3. Ask for the Blood of Jesus to cover you                                                                                 (Exodus 12:13). 4. Declare your Righteousness through the Blood of Jesus (Romans 5:9). 5. Ask the Blood of Jesus to always speak for you (Hebrew 12:24). 6. Ask God to remember His promises concerning you as He did with Israelite in Egyp...

My Testimony of Divine Visitation and Deliverance

Read through this testimony with sensitivity in the spirit. The bible says, we overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). You shall have a testimony as you read this testimony: This testimony is an excerpt from my book titled: A victorious spiritual warfare: using my testimony as a case study. The book is available on Amazon as ebooks ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088QQ4W3R ) and paperback ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GRQ9NZG I used to be afraid of spiritual warfare, in fact, any little trial, I run away until one day that I found myself in a spiritual warfare which I needed to choose between life and death. If I run as usual, its eternal damnation but if I stay and fight the warfare, it is eternal victory. What a turning point in my spiritual life. On Sunday, 21st May 2006, as I was in my house at Oke-Owa, Ijebu Ode Nigeria,, in the evening, the Lord said to me that I should go and check the headlamp of my car to see if ok. I t...

Grace and Mercy explained

This is an excerpt from my book titled: The grace of God: a launch into divine blessings.  The book is available on Amazon as ebooks ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B29JZ5H2 ) and paperback ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2DY829T ) “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace for help in time of need”    Hebrews 4:16 KJV Grace is unmerited favour. It is the divine blessings upon us. As a result of sin, we don’t merit the blessings of God but God showers His favours upon us and bless us. In the above scripture, we were asked to come boldly unto the throne of grace. The throne of grace is the throne of God. How can sinners come boldly to the throne of God and not be consumed. This is the work of grace. We can only come boldly to the throne of God through the Blood of Jesus. When we confess our sin and then clothe ourselves with the Blood of Jesus, we become righteous through the Blood of Jesus. Then we can approach the th...
